“Plastics group a green advocate” by Gigi Muñoz David
07 September '11 under Features.
Writing in the Manila Standard Today, Gigi David covered the launch of the waste plastics collections in the name of INVISIBLE Sisters, supported by the Philippine Plastic Industry Association (PPIA) and the Ayala Foundation. The coverage on February 26-27, 2011 noted:
The works of Invisible Sisters include crocheted tablecloths, hats, blouses, skirts and other accessories using recyclable materials such as plastic bags, computer wires, compact disks, and cassette and video reels. The project has evolved into a full-grown social enterprise that promotes creative expression, waste management, and augments the income of urban poor women.
